Five Injured In Truck-Car Crash On Route 78: Njsp

Five people were injured after a crash between a car and a tractor-trailer on Route 78 in Hunterdon County on the early morning of Friday, May 10, authorities said.

At 3:42 a.m., a crash occurred between a Mercedes-Benz and a Peterbilt tractor trailer on Route 78 west in Bethlehem Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.

The driver of the Mercedes-Benz and four passengers sustained minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
